Privacy Policy for Agent VPN

Agent VPN is a technical network utility app designed to provide secure proxy connections across Android and iOS. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles privacy, security, and VPN-related data practices.

1. Strict No-Logs Policy

We operate a zero-logs architecture.

  • We do not collect or log browsing history, traffic destinations, or DNS queries.
  • We do not monitor the content of your data or your session durations.
  • We do not log your originating IP address or the IP of the server you connect to.

2. Usage of VPN Platform APIs

The core functionality of the Agent VPN app relies on operating-system-level VPN capabilities on supported platforms, including Android VpnService and comparable VPN or network extension frameworks on iOS.

  • Purpose: To create a secure, device-level tunnel for protocols such as Vmess, Vless, Trojan, and Hysteria2.
  • Encryption: We ensure that all data processed through these VPN platform capabilities is encrypted using industry-standard protocols such as AES-256 from your device to the final VPN tunnel endpoint.
  • Data Protection: No personal or sensitive user data is ever collected or shared through these VPN platform APIs.

3. Personal Information & Registration

The Agent VPN app is designed to be used without registration.

  • We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or physical location.
  • We do not store identifiers directly linked to your personal identity for account creation or login purposes.
  • Payment and subscription data, where applicable, are processed by the relevant app-store billing provider and do not touch our servers.

4. Technical & Configuration Data

To maintain app stability and perform global updates, we use anonymizedtechnical metrics and remote configuration services.

  • Remote Configuration: We use Google Firebase, including Cloud Firestore, to manage app settings such as feature flags and advertisement status in real time. This helps us update configuration or disable features without requiring a full app update.
  • Diagnostics: We may use aggregated crash reports, app version data, device model information, and connection success rates to identify bugs and improve protocol stability.

This data is used for configuration, reliability, and app functionality, is not tied to your browsing traffic, and is encrypted in transit.

5. Third-Party Advertising

The free version of the Agent VPN app uses third-party advertising partners to display ads.

  • Third-Party Advertising & Device Identifiers: Third-party ad networks (such as Google AdMob, Meta Audience Network, and Unity Ads) collect device identifiers (like the Android Advertising ID or iOS IDFA), IP addresses, and usage data to serve personalized advertisements.
  • Cookies & Tracking: These third parties use cookies, mobile ad identifiers, and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our app or other websites.
  • Opt-Out: You can control or reset advertising identifiers through your device privacy settings, including ad personalization or tracking preferences available on Android and iOS.

6. Third-Party Server Configurations

As a multi-protocol client, the Agent VPN app allows users to import third-party server configurations and nodes.

  • Disclaimer: Agent VPN is a software utility and does not provide VPN servers or nodes.
  • Users are responsible for adding their own configurations. We do not have access to, and are not responsible for, the data practices of the third-party servers you choose to connect to.
  • Your use of third-party nodes is subject to their own privacy policies. We recommend only using trusted server providers.

7. Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13. The Agent VPN app is a technical utility intended for a general audience.

8. Platform Compliance

This policy is intended to support compliance with app-platform requirements for VPN applications, including Google Play and Apple App Store review expectations. We ensure that:

  1. Platform VPN capabilities are used only for core VPN and secure tunneling functionality.
  2. All data is encrypted from the device to the final tunnel endpoint.
  3. No user traffic is manipulated for monetization purposes.
